Fiona Krüger
Fiona Krüger partnered with Progress Packaging to manufacture a sustainable luxury watch packaging solution that reflects the creativity and craftsmanship behind her timepieces. Known for her innovation across fine art, design, and horology, Krüger required packaging that aligned with her values – minimal, thoughtful, and environmentally responsible.
Produced to a detailed specification, we made the packaging using the revolutionary Notpla Seaweed Paper supplied by GF Smith. It comprises a folded outer and inner case, with lid-locker closure tabs for a secure, refined finish. Entirely natural, recyclable, and home-compostable, Notpla paper is made from waste seaweed biomass – its distinctive veining and soft finish reflecting both luxury and circularity. A foil-blocked debossed detail using a Foilco shade to the brand logo adds an understated elegance to the lid, while a precision-cut insert holds the clear display case securely in place. Inside, a Notpla paper pocket, a storytelling note about the watch was included to add an extra-special detail and elevate the unboxing experience.
This amazing project demonstrates how luxury packaging manufacture can embrace radical sustainability without compromising quality or impact.
