Yoovy® create premium eyewear that encompasses a timeless design aesthetic using the highest quality materials and components, combined with artisanal workmanship and the latest technology to create a curated range of spectacles and sunglasses that gives discerning clients access to luxury eyewear from their own home.

Progress worked directly with Yoovy to deliver eyewear packaging which is uniquely presented in luxury printed cardboard tubes. The presentation eyewear packaging features a butt-jointed, telescopic shoulder closure which is manufactured from greyboard, covered in 135gsm white uncoated paper and printed in black with the brand’s logo and messaging.

To safely secure each individual pair of sunglasses or spectacle inside this custom cardboard tube packaging, a card insert for the shoulder was made from 350gsm coated board, covered in 135gsm white uncoated paper with a base shoulder top card, and die cut to hold a spectacles case and a pair of glasses in a microfiber fabric hammock. These presentation packaging printed cardboard tubes feature a butt-jointed, telescopic shoulder closure with a foam collar inner to keep the components in place when the lid is secured.

To protect the presentation packaging in transit to the customer, Progress manufactured custom cardboard tube packaging to house the inner pack. This unbranded black cardboard tube which also features a butt-jointed, telescopic shoulder closure, was sized to perfectly fit the inner packaging. For removal of the product packaging, black Grosgrain ribbons (inserted through die cuts in the base of the tube) were incorporated as a feature to add theatre to the presentation of the inner pack.
