Spitfire Audio

Spitfire Audio has worked with some of the top names in the music industry, from film and television music composer Hans Zimmer to more household names such as Radiohead and U2. Founded in 2007 by award-winning composers, Christian Henson and Paul Thomson, Spitfire was born out of their shared frustrations with existing string sample libraries. Having pulled their resources together to record their own string samples, they originally showcased their work to an inner circle of Hollywood composers. Word soon spread across the Atlantic and it didn’t take long for some of the world’s most formidable composers of film and television to sign up to Paul and Christian’s work.

Working from Yes Studio’s designs, we produced these one-piece folding boxes to hold the audio hard drives and leads. Made from a custom-dyed paper stock, they held a felt layered platform inside and were fitted with three magnetic closures. The branding to the lid was a debossed inwards logo. We also produced a 170gsm welcome card, printed single colour with a holographic foil.
