Klira
British Skincare brand Klira was founded by Dr Emma Craythorne and based on a ‘no hype, just results’ philosophy plus her belief that “The journey to good skin happens at a cellular level, not a cosmetic one. It is only through the repeated application of medical actives that real change can happen”.
The brand started through a frustration of waste and mis-selling in skincare to deliver a range of products that have the power to change your skin, not by using ‘wonder’ elements but just using the ingredients that actually work.
Progress worked with Klira and the designers of the packaging, Studio Minerva, on a product pack for their specially engineered range of refillable, airless and UV protected delivery systems, by manufacturing a pillow pack to house the individual bottles and a concertina information leaflet contained in a custom-made C8 envelope – all of which is recyclable.
All the packaging was manufactured in the UK using Naturalis Absolute Smooth White from G.F Smith – a material specially selected for this project due to its beautifully even finish on both sides.
We produced 5,000 units of each element of the packaging. The pillow pack (on 330g) split across four designs and the leaflet (on 120g) were printed CMYK and sealed both sides, then branded with a silver foil block in one position on each. The custom-made envelope was also produced on 120g and foil blocked in one position, before being die-cut to shape, creased and glued in two positions to finish.
