Absolut

Absolut Vodka is one of the most recognised drinks brands around, available in bars, restaurants and hotels across the world. It was in 1979 that a group of daring entrepreneurs took the unknown Swedish vodka into the midst of a highly competitive American market. One iconic collaboration with Andy Warhol saw Absolut soon become the trendiest and most creatively driven alcoholic drink on the planet. Fast forward to 2012 and the Absolut Art Bureau was formed, responsible for passing on the vodka’s art heritage, encouraging experimentation in all visual media across the full spectrum of contemporary art practice.

Working with Jake Noakes, we created these 16 oz canvas tote bags with dual coloured handles, internal zip closure pockets and branded woven labels. A two colour screen print was used on both sides for branding, with the design split over two different canvas colours. The bags were made at our specialist factory and shipped to both Germany and Sweden for promotional events.
