H.R. Higgins

H.R. Higgins is a heritage British brand renowned for sourcing and roasting the finest coffees and curating exceptional teas. Established in 1942 and holding a Royal Warrant, they have spent over 80 years crafting speciality coffees, exquisite teas and infusions for customers in London and beyond.

Progress worked with H.R. Higgins to produce a suite of luxury carton boxes for their premium tea and coffee Christmas gift collections. Created for brands that require high-end presentation and reliable luxury carton box manufacturing, the project combined strong structural integrity with refined visual detailing to elevate the unboxing experience and ensure smooth production.

The cartons were manufactured as standard shoulder boxes using a 650gsm board, chosen for its rigidity, clean edges and suitability for premium carton packaging production. Each box was litho printed and finished with a matt lamination to create a smooth, tactile surface, while matt gold foil branding added understated, high-quality detailing. The fully enclosed, window-free construction delivered consistency and strength across classic black teas, wellness loose-leaf blends and heritage coffee sets.

Progress oversaw every stage of the custom carton box manufacturing process – from material specification and carton engineering to print management and finishing. The result was a cohesive collection of luxury shoulder boxes that reflected the brand’s long-standing commitment to quality, delivering robust product protection, elevated shelf presence and a premium finish suited to a wide range of retail markets.
