House of Macduff are already established as specialists in matured whisky, and now they are venturing out into the world of gin and other spirits. Their yet to be launched gin range will be called Fifty/50 — a nod to the ingredients used when it is distilled. ‘Its unusual colour comes from spending ten years in virgin oak casks, before being finished in whisky barrels and blended with carefully selected gin.’
When it came to the packaging of this product, House of Macduff chose Rydo to design their future branding presence — their design partners for several other spirits, including their whiskies and rums. We produced these crash-lock cartons with a tuck-end top, which were covered in Colorplan 540gsm paper with a one-colour foil block to the outer, and a blind deboss of nearly 100% coverage.
