Speaking about packaging on their website, Form & Thread explain how they carefully developed their pieces to ensure that all elements were both bio-degradable and recyclable.

Progress manufactured paper bags and mailing cartons for them, keeping in mind the need to make sure these products can either be reused or recycled in the future, meaning their longevity is limitless. The paper carriers were made from white stock paper and had a gloss black foiled logo on both the outer faces and the turnovers. Instead of using rope handles for this piece, we fitted black paper twisted loop handles, which made the bags 100% recyclable. The die-cut hinged lid mailing cartons were flexographically printed black to the outers. A peel-and-seal closure was included with a tear-strip opening.
